Daisy Duck is added to the Fab 50 collection coming for the anniversary
The latest character that will be coming to the “Disney Fab 50 Character Collection” for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World is Daisy Duck.
Fabiola Garza, the cover artist for the “A Portrait of Walt Disney World: 50 Years of the Most Magical Place on Earth,” a coffee table book being released Sept. 21 that paints a portrait of the Florida resort, through vibrant voices and rare Disney theme park concept art, photographs, and ephemera.
Daisy will be seen at Magic Kingdom.
During the 18-month celebration of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, 50 golden statue characters will be placed throughout the four parks.
In addition to Daisy, the following characters have been announced:
More character sculptures will be announced in the upcoming weeks by Disney friends, including Walt Disney World, Disney+, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, D23, Disney Channel, NatGeoTV, Disney Vacation Club and more.
