Disney replacing Magic Kingdom Christmas Party with After Hours Event
Disney has announced its holiday plans for the years and will not be having its annual Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party event and instead will be holding another special After Hours Event, similar to the one that is coming for Halloween – with one major twist.
The major twist is Christmas fireworks.
Starting Nov. 8, the Magic Kingdom will host Disney Very Merriest After Hours special-ticketed event. It will be available on select nights through Dec. 21.
The four-hour event will include “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmas Fireworks.” Disney characters will be seen throughout the park, as will special holiday decor, music and treats that will be included./
The tickets will be limited for the event and it will be held after regular park operating hours. Since it is limited attendance lower wait times are expected on the more than 20 attractions that will be open during the event.
There is no news on whether there will be a holiday show on the stage.
Tickets will go on sale next month, with an early purchase window available to guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
Here’s everything else coming Disney World for the 2021 Holiday season.
