Fireworks returning to Disneyland Resort in July
The party returns to Disneyland Park on July 4 when “Mickey Mix Magic” fireworks come back on July 4, 2021.
The fireworks will be presented nightly throughout the summer. State-of-the-art projections, show lighting and lasers will transform Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle and the façade of “it’s a small world” into a dazzling, family fun dance party that goes sky high with fireworks to celebrate the leader of the club, Mickey Mouse.
Guests will also dance and sing along to these tunes during “Mickey’s Mix Magic”:
- “I Wanna Be Like You” (The Jungle Book)
- “Ev’rybody Wants to Be a Cat” (The Aristocats)
- “Friend Like Me” (Aladdin)
- “Grim Grinning Ghosts” (theme song from The Haunted Mansion attraction)
- “Un Poco Loco” (Coco)
- “Let It Go” (Frozen)
More than two dozen video projectors bring “Mickey’s Mix Magic” to life throughout the park. Nearly 100 special lighting fixtures are utilized throughout the show, and they sit atop 10 different rooftops throughout the park.
Disney also announced today that Walt Disney World fireworks will return on July 1.
The announcement comes as Disneyland can now welcome people from outside of California to the resort. In addition, face mask mandates are eliminated for those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine. Phyiscal distancing has also been eliminated.
Disneyland has also started offering a special hotel room deal for the summer and into the fall.
