Jon Stewart to host 2021 DOD Warrior Games at Disney World
Comedian and actor Jon Stewart will host the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2021 Department of Defense Warrior Games that will take place at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World in September.
First held in 2010, the DoD Warrior Games celebrates the resiliency and dedication of wounded, ill, and injured active duty and veteran U.S. military service members and enhances their recovery by providing them exposure to adaptive sports. Participation in the DoD Warrior Games represents the culmination of a service member’s involvement in an adaptive sports program and demonstrates the incredible potential of wounded warriors through competitive sports.
Stewart has been emceeing all of the opening and closing ceremonies since 2015, he’s excited to be part of the DoD Warrior Games once again. He will be at the opening ceremony on Sept. 12 and the closing ceremony on Sept. 22.
