Photos: All the topiaries at 2021 Flower and Garden Festival

Disney has repositioned and relocated a number of topiaries for this year’s Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival that gives everyone a better opportunity for photos and puts them in more sun.

There are about 100 topiaries dotted around the theme park in Walt Disney World and they will be up now through July 5, 2021. And, as time progresses, the topiaries will continue to grow and be cut back. so their look can change depending upon when you visit.

Another tip, if you are looking for good photos, consider where the sun is positioned. The topiaries on the west side of the park (The Land, Journey Into Imagination, Canada, United Kingdom, and France pavilions) will be in better sun earlier in the day and the park on the east side will be in better light later in the day.

So, let’s take a tour of the topiaries.

To right of the Mickey Fantasia is Hycanith Hippo and Ben Ali Gator, featured in Dance of the Hours part of “Fantasia.” (Photo by Steve Liebman)

This is our first big topiary treat. Woody and Bo Peep have normally been behind a fence near a playground. Now, they are out in the open, allowing for better photos and better pics of you in front of them.

Our next big topiary treat, is the Lion King, now out in the open on the walkway between the Imagination! pavilion toward the World Showcase. In the past it has been in the Outpost area between China and Germany. PhotoPass photographers are setting up here if you are looking to get a great family photo.

After seeing Donald and his family, we head east around the World Showcase. And see our favorite Muppets after the Canada pavilion. Be aware that they will be darker in the morning with the light at their backs.

Don’t forget to head to the World Showplace, not only for food, but a great exhibit on Walt Disney World Horticulture Department and . . .

Outside the UK pavilion is the one topiaries that can be difficult to photograph due to the shade from the tree Peter Pan and Captain Hook.

Now, we are over the bridge heading to the France pavilion and Remy is in front of the entrance to his new ride Ratatouille, opening later this year sometime.
