Magic Kingdom train station covered for renovation

The iconic entrance photo of Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World now looks more like a backdrop you would see in a studio now that a giant scrim has been placed over the station to allow for renovation.

The construction of the new TRON ride in Tomorrowland has caused the shutdown of the trains that roll around the Magic Kingdom. New track has needed to be laid down and now the station is getting a bit of a makeover as well.

The Main Street station is getting an update. While it has been closed down for people to visit, the back of the station is still being used for Disney characters and the Dapper Dans to appear and sing and greet guests.

There is no timetable announced when the station will reopen, or when the trains will roll again.
