Photos: No kidding, Nigerian dwarf goats join Kilimanjaro Safaris

For the past few months Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been building up a new area at the end of the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction, complete with a warden’s station and fencing. Now, we can see what’s been added behind the fence – Nigerian dwarf goats.

The miniature goats , which are fully grown adults, have taken over this warden’s outposts and can be seen climbing on the building, the jeep, tables and anything else they can get jump on.

“Originally from Nigeria, the goats are considered to be of high value because of the high protein milk they provide, which is also very sweet. By being able to help support the village with the goat milk products, there is less of a need for people to rely on wildlife, which in turn helps keep wildlife and their habitats protected,” according to the Disney Parks Blog.
