Two recently born giraffe calves Maple and Zella have joined the other Masai giraffes on the Kilimanjaro Safaris savanna today, Dec. 3.
The calves have been spending time bonding backstage with mothers Mara and Willow. This was the first time the duo joined the zebra, wildebeest and springbok.
Under the watchful eyes of the keepers, the two kids explored their new surroundings with their mothers and aunts.
Soon, they were runnng around with four od the older “kids” recently born, the animal keepers reported. The calves will start spending more and more time on the savanna in the coming days.
