Aerial photos of canopy construction over TRON ride at Magic Kingdom

Work is now progressing on the white frame of what will be the canopy covering the outdoor track of the new TRON Lightcycle/Run attraction coming to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

The curved wave canopy should become a stunning addition to the skyline in Tomorrowland.

The new coaster being built in next to Space Mountain is based on Shanghai Disneyland’s TRON Lightcycle Power Run.  Guests will board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles that will take them inside and outside the attraction’s building, reaching speeds of nearly 60 miles. The ride lasts about two minutes.

Take a look below at the construction and at the bottom what the final canopy will look like.
