Disney’s petting zoo reopening at Animal Kingdom this weekend
Affection Section at Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be reopening starting Nov. 15, Dr. Mark Penning Vice President, Animals, Science and Environment, Disney Parks posted on his Instagram site.
“Many of our guests love getting to know our animals, and the animals have missed visiting with the guests, too,” he wrote.
There will be enhanced safety guidelines and limited admittance so guests can maintain physical distance. People will be asked to use the handwashing station when entering and exiting the area.
The outdoor animal enclosure contains domesticated goats, sheep, donkeys, cows and pigs. The area will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
