Photos: Magic Kingdom gets its 2020 holiday makeover

This year’s Walt Disney World holiday season officially kicks off on Nov. 6, but Disney is already prepping each of the parks with their own holiday decor.

The Magic Kingdom Christmas tree, garland and Toy Soldiers are all up. Later this week, when night falls at the Magic Kingdom special projection effects will give a festive look to Cinderella Castle this year, providing a colorful backdrop for photos. The appearance of the iconic castle will be transformed with a rotating series of designs including a whimsical Christmas sweater and a regal overlay of red, green and gold ornamentation. This will be in place of the Castle Dream Lights.

But first, let’s take a tour of the Magic Kingdom:.
