Gerlan Jeans creates new Minnie Mouse fashion line
Minnie Mouse is yet again going to be featured on a new line of clothes.
She is going to get the Gerlan Jeans treatment with prints that showcase Minnie’s many moods and then sets her signature bow free to fly, according to a Gerlan Jeans press release.
As part of the Spring/Summer 2013 runway show, Gerlan Jeans is presenting the Minnie Mouse collection. “Minnie Mouse is a fashion icon that transcends time,” Stephanie Kraus, vice president of global product development and softlines for Disney Consumer Products, said in a news release. “Our collaboration with Gerlan Jeans brings to life Minnie’s flirty vitality and introduces her to a new generation of young women who will be inspired to infuse their fashion with fun.”
The signature “Minnie Bow” will be seen throughout the collection as a symbol of empowerment, the release says.
