Disney World debuts mobile ordering for Sanaa table service restaurant

Walt Disney World has debuted mobile ordering for its first table-service restaurant – Sannaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village. Could this be the first of more table service restaurants coming online?

Currently, mobile ordering is used for quick-service restaurants with guests using the My Disney Experience app to order prior to entering the restaurant.

This experience is similar to how mobile ordering is for quick service locations. You choose an arrival window, and then build your order from there. The app alerts you when your food is ready.

The addition of Sanaa to mobile ordering makes sense since there is limited dining options available at the resort. Sanaa has been offering takeout since reopening, but to order you needed to go to the podium and then return when the food was ready.

This would allow you to order from your room and then pickup the food when it is ready.

This might be the answer for guests staying at a number of resorts as dining options may be limited.
