New Animal Kingdom mini-series debuts on My Disney Experience app

You can learn more about the animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom without even heading to the theme park.

Disney has launched a new mini-series called “Disney Parks Wild Sights” on the My Disney Experience app showcasing the animals at the theme park.

Featuring a variety of animals, the series will introduce viewers to the diverse wildlife of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In each episode, a different animal will be introduced and you’ll see the bonds between the animals and animal keepers.

The first episode focuses on elephants.

The “Disney Parks Wild Sights” is one of a new series on the app. The other series include:

• “Destination Disney,” travel to Disney parks and resorts around the world and discover what makes each of them both magically familiar and culturally distinct.
• “Designing Disney Parks” learn little-known stories about Disney Parks design history and inspiration.
• “Disney Parks Throwback” go on a trip back in time through Disney Parks history
• “Celebrate with Disney Parks” includes highlights from holidays and other dates with stories inspired by our parks, cast members and our guests.
• “Disney Date Night” to get some magical inspiration for your next date night or family hang out.
