Mission: Space at Epcot re-opens in August with updated and new missions

Mission: Space will re-open in August at Epcot with the newest adventure that was unveiled at the recent D23 Expo 2017.

The attraction as been taking people to Mars since it opened in 2003. The ride is divided into two sections, called missions.

The Orange Mission is the more intense ride which people feel they are blasting off just like astronauts. The centrifugal motion simulator gives the higher g-force of liftoff. The Green Mission is less intense.

The Orange Mission will make it a more visually stunning journey to Mars.

The new Green Mission will have guests blasting off for an orbital adventure around Earth.

No specific dates have yet to be announced.
