15 questions we hope Disney World answers with its reopening plans

Walt Disney World is scheduled to present its reopening plans to the Orange County Economic Task Force Wednesday morning and, there are a number of questions visitors and potential visitors will want to see answered.

When Disney goes before the task force at 10 a.m. the plan will include the proposed opening date as well as safety protocols it plans to implement for cast members as well as guests. By looking at what has happened at Shanghai Disneyland and Universal Orlando’s presentation last week, we can make some assumptions, such as there will be temperature checks and face mask requirements, but we are always going to want Disney to give us definitive answers.

So, let’s take a look at the 15 questions we all want answered:

  1. Are all parks opening or just a couple?
  2. What will the capacity be at the parks?
  3. Will I need to wear a mask on rides?
  4. Who will be able to enter a park? Do I need to reserve a ticket to enter (as was done even for Annual Passholders at Shanghai Disneyland)?
  5. If I have a reservation at a resort, am I guaranteed an entrance ticket?
  6. Will there be extra blackout dates for certain Annual Passes?
  7. Can I still use my FastPasses or is there a new system being implemented?
  8. Can I park hop?
  9. What Disney transportation will be operating (monorail, buses, watercraft, Disney Skyliner?)
  10. Will there be parades?
  11. Will there be fireworks?
  12. Will all the resorts be open to visit for dining?
  13. Will there be character meals?
  14. Will I be able to meet characters?
  15. Will there be buffets? How will they work?

If you have questions you’d like answered, chime in and we will see if we can find the answer from the presentation.
