Shanghai Disneyland resumes stage shows

A week and a half after reopening its doors, Shanghai Disneyland has resumed a number of stage shows.

When the park reopened after being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of experiences remained closed, including the stage shows.

But as of today, the Frozen: A Sing-Along Celebration, Golden Fairytale Fanfare, Avengers Training Initiative, Eye of the Storm: Captain Jack’s Stunt Spectacular and Cub Destin-E have resumed a number of performances.

This appears to be another phase Disney is taking to reopen the park as more guests are being allowed into the park.

Walt Disney Co. CEO Bob Chapek has said that the fits 80,000 people but the government has limited capacity to 30% or 24,000. But the park opened far below that number and will be adding about 5,000 people per week until it reached the 30% – by which point the government might raise its cap and Disney could keep adding more people.
