Joe Rohde’s Disney Parks Designer Collection Ears to be released today
The latest release in the Disney Parks Designer Collection should be available at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT today (April 22) on shopDisney.com and they are designed by Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde.
The ears look like an aviator’s hat, with a faded brown faux leather exterior and a plush white lining. The compass Mickey ears have two sets of coordinates printed on them and two dates.
The right ear is Disney’s Animal Kingdom with the park’s opening date of April 22, 1998. The left ear have the coordinates for Mount Everest and the opening date for the Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, April 7, 2006.
The ears also contain the old fashioned aviator goggles worn by pilots.
The release time for these special items is normally 10 a.m. ET/ 7 a.m. PT, but no specific time has been announced other than it is releasing today. No pricing has been announced and be aware these could end up going fast, so be ready.
