Look back: 2019 Easter Egg display at Disney World’s Grand Floridian

An annual event at Disney World during Easter has been the Easter Egg Display at The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, but obviously this is not taking place due to the temporary closure.

This would have been the 25h year for the bakery team to design and hand decorate the eggs.

We thought it would be a good time to take a look back at last year’s collection.

Each egg was ornamented with edible products such as modeling chocolate, fondant, sugar floral, royal icing, colored cocoa butter and sculpted sugar pieces.

The eggs are hollow and weigh between 9 and 12 pounds each and stand from 16 to 20 inches tall.
