Tokyo Disney Resort has new tentative April 20 re-opening date
The temporary closures of Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea have been extended in light of the continued request from the New Coronavirus Response Headquarters to refrain from holding events, the company said on its website.
The current situation in Japan and around the world prompted the company to move back the re-opening. The parks are now planned for an “April 20 or beyond, for which a new announcement will be sent out.”
This closure includes all four Tokyo Disney Resort hotels, as well as the Ikspiari shopping mall.
The resort was closed Feb. 29 to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak and was first scheduled to reopen March 15, then extended into early April and now April 20.
