Make your own magic: How to make your own Dole Whip
One of the most popular snacks at Disney Parks — a world with no shortage of mouthwatering snacks — is the Dole Whip, a pineapple, nondairy soft-serve.
If you’re craving a taste of Disney parks, you can make your own Dole Whip. It’s not quite the same as enjoying this treat while you watch Aladdin’s flying carpets go round, but it’s as close as you can get right now.
Dole has helpfully shared its recipe, which takes about 10 minutes to whip up and serves two. If you want to get fancier, you could make it into a float (just add pineapple juice) or serve it over a pineapple upside-down cake — just like that do at Aloha Aisle.
Ingredients
- 1 cup pineapple juice, frozen in an ice cube tray
- 1 DOLE® Banana, peeled and frozen
- 2-1/2 teaspoons powdered sugar
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk beverage
Directions
- Combine pineapple juice, banana, and powdered sugar in a blender. Cover; blend until smooth, gradually adding coconut milk and scraping down sides if necessary. Serve immediately.
