Disneyland’s Rise of Resistance to use virtual queue, cast member previews set
Those wanting to ride “Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance” at Disneyland will be using a virtual queue, the Orange County Register reports, similar to what has been used at Hollywood Studios in Disney World.
Since the opening of the ride at Disney World, guests have needed to join “Boarding Groups” when entering the park and get into a virtual queue. Many of the Boarding Groups filled after a couple of hours and now Backup Boarding Groups have been handed out in case the other groups were able to ride the attraction.
But before the guests get access, the Orange County Register is also reporting Disneyland cast members will be able to experience the ride first.
Cast members will be able to preview the ride Jan. 8-17, 2020. The ride officially opens to the public on Jan. 17, 2020. Disneyland previously used the virtual queue when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge first opened.
