Magic Kingdom’s Big Thunder closing for refurbishment in May 2020

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World will close for refurbishment in May.

The attraction is listed as closing from May 4 to May 21, 2020. The attraction is expected to reopen on May 22, 2020.

Other attractions that are scheduled to close refurbishment early next year include:

Splash Mountain, that will close for refurbishment starting Jan. 6, 2020, and reopening on Feb. 28, 2020.

Test Track will close for refurbishment Jan. 13 and reopen on Feb. 26, 2020.
