Levi’s joins forces with Disney for Star Wars collection
When Luke Skywalker first hopped from his land speeder and into pop culture history, he was wearing a bleached white pair of Levi’s jeans.
More than 40 years later, there’s a new chapter in the Star Wars + Levi’s partnership. Levi’s has released a new line of clothing paying homage to Star Wars just in time for the release of “The Rise of Skywalker” next month.
The line includes two blue denim jackets for women, one of which features art from an early Star Wars movie poster on the back. The other is speckled all over and includes part of the famous crawl on the back: “In a galaxy far, far away.” One men’s trucker jacket is black and features Darth Vader on the back. A second is blue and has the words ”I’ve got a bad feeling about this” embroidered across back and sleeves.
Other pieces incorporate images of the original Kenner Star Wars action figures of R2-D2, C-3PO and Chewbacca.
