Story of Coco returning to Epcot for Día de los Muertos
The Mariachi Cobre Presents the Story of “Coco” will return Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at Epcot for Día de los Muertos.
The group will be joined by a pair of Folklórico dancers to tell the story of Miguel Rivera. The dancers perform to the music of the film and Miguel appears in the form of a hand-crafted puppet.
In the film “Coco”, young Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming trickster named Héctor, the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
The celebration will be performed four times a day from Thursday, Oct. 31 through Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Mexico pavilion in World Showcase.
