Animation Experience at Animal Kingdom turns sinister on Oct. 18

The Animation Experience at Conservation Station at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been focusing on “Lion King” characters since it opened on July 11, 2019.

Now a few more sinister characters will be added to the mix starting Oct. 18, 2019. In total there will be six possible character you might learn how to draw.

Scar and Ed from the “Lion King” will remain in the rotation and be joined by Bruce from “Finding Nemo,” Hopper from “A Bug’s Life,” ShereKhan from “The Jungle Book” and Tic Toc from “Peter Pan.” 

To get to the Animation Experience, you need to hop the Wildlife Express Train from Harambe to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. On your way, you pass the back of the rock formation where the lions live on the savannah of Kilimanjaro Safari, and you may get a glimpse of cheetahs, rhino and elephants in their backstage enclosures.
