Art of Disney in Epcot expected to move this weekend to new location

The Heritage Manor store at the American Adventure in Epcot is slowly being emptied out to make room for the Art of Disney.

Cast members have said they expect the move to take place sometime over this weekend (Oct. 5-6) or early next week (Oct.7-9).

The store, normally filled with America-themed Disney merchandise has been slowly being emptied out over the past week. Much of the merchandise, we were told, will be available in the kiosks outside the store as well as other locations in Epcot.

The Art of Disney move to the Heritage Manor location for now as the front of Epcot goes through its major transition. (Full details here.)

Closings that have already taken place include Epcot Character Spot, Club Cool, Innoventions East, Fountview and Fountain of Nations.

The Camera Center and Pin Central are also scheduled to close this fall.

In the winter, the Electric Umbrella is scheduled to close and Mouse Gear will move to a temporary home.
