Magic Kingdom character meet and greet changes coming Oct.1

Changes will be coming to various Disney character meet and greet locations at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World as Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration comes to an end at the end of this month.

Here is a look at the changes expected to take place:

• Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will no longer meet guests in their Celebration outfits after Sept. 30. at the Town Square Theater. Mickey Mouse will instead greet guests in his Magician outfit starting Oct. 1, 2019.

• Minnie Mouse will rejoin Daisy, Donald, and Goofy, greeting guests at Calliope Tent (near the Walt Disney World Railroad station in Storybook Circus) Oct. 1 and 2, and then return to Pete’s Silly Sideshow on Oct. 3.

• Pluto will no longer meet guests Pete’s Silly Sideshow after Sept. 30. Pluto will roam around Storybook Circus in the morning and greet guests in the afternoon in Calliope Tent (near the Walt Disney World Railroad station in Storybook Circus) starting Oct. 1.

• Chip and Dale will roam Frontierland in the morning and greet guests in the afternoon at the Splash Mountain Exit starting Oct. 1.

• Anastasia, Drizella, and Fairy Godmother will greet guests at the archways next to Pinocchio Village Haus starting Oct. 1.
