Hurricane Dorian: Orlando International Airport will close Monday
Orlando International Airport plans to cease commercial flight operations on Monday, Sept. 2, 2019, at 2 a.m. as Hurricane Dorian approaches Florida
Passengers are being advised to check in with their airlines for flight information and changes, officials said.
“Our plan currently is to run full operations through Sunday. We don’t know exactly where Dorian is going but we do know that it will have a significant impact on the entire state of Florida,” Phil Brown, CEO of Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, said in a news release.
The airport advised the public to follow its Twitter page (@MCO) for when it would reopen.
