Check out the new Legends of Hollywood store at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios has been a shopping wasteland for months, with three of its largest stores shuttered for a makeover. Today, one of those stores reopened — and it was worth the wait.

Legends of Hollywood has been transformed from a forgettable Planet Hollywood souvenir shop into a glam store dripping with the elegance of 1930s Hollywood. Half of the store is devoted to jewelry, while the other half puts the spotlight on dresses and accessories.

The focus on jewelry and dresses makes us wonder what’s in store for Keystone Clothiers, which used to carry some of the same types of products. Perhaps it will have a focus on menswear. We won’t have to wait long to find out; Keystone Clothiers is expected to open next week. Mickey’s of Hollywood should follow about two weeks later.
