This Disney World parade is changing times for 2019 holiday season

A major scheduling change for those going to the Magic Kingdom starting Aug. 16, 2019. The 3 p.m. daily parade will now be taking place at 2 p.m.

The fan-favorite Festival of Fantasy Parade, with the fire-breathing dragon, will march through the Magic Kingdom an hour earlier due to the holiday season.

The holiday season for Disney kicks off on Aug. 16 with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on select nights through Nov. 1 and continues with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party from Nov. 8 through Dec. 22, 2019.

To accommodate the parties the parade is moved up. The parade will go back to its 3 p.m. slot starting Jan. 1, 2020, according to the Disney World website calendar.
