How Disney World is celebrating Haunted Mansion’s anniversary

It might be Disneyland’s honor to celebrate the Haunted Mansion’s 50th anniversary, but that doesn’t mean Disney World won’t be spreading the commemorative merchandise love.

The Magic Kingdom will also be celebrating the Aug. 9 anniversary with merchandise and a themed treat. And the places to go will be Memento Mori, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe and Frontier Trading Post.

Let’s late a look at what will be available.

AVAILABLE AT MEMENTO MORI

Memento Mori will have the special Host-A-Ghost collection. You will receive a “death certificate” that officiates your role of caretaker for a resident and happy haunt from the Haunted Mansion that you can see with a simple tap. Guests can choose from a selection of dearly departed souls, including Constance Hatchaway, Professor Phineas Plump, The Hatbox Ghost, among others

You can also find commemorative items such as an ear hat, ornament, mug, magnet and even a toy replica of the doom buggy vehicle with glow and new sound features at Memento Mori. The Pandora and Alex and Ani charms will be available at this location.

YE Olde Christmas Shoppe

At Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, you can find a Haunted-Mansion inspired Dooney & Bourke collection including a tote and cross body bag. There is also a special Passholder exclusive satchel.

Frontier Trading Post

The Frontier Trading Post will have the commemorative “day of” pin, mystery pin collection and a glow in the dark Madame Leota Funko Pop.

Haunted Mansion ice cream cart

The ice cream cart will have a special treat available, the Host-A-Ghost chocolate cupcake made with a dark chocolate truffle filling, crispy pearls, buttercream icing, and milk chocolate decoration.

The special merchandise will be available starting Aug. 9 at 7:45 a.m.

In addition, those attending Disney Villain After Hours on August 8 will have access to certain items in advance. The Funko Pop, pins and Dooney & Bourke handbags will all release on the morning of August 9 and will not be available during Disney Villains After Hours. The Pandora charm set will be available at Uptown Jewelers on Aug. 8 and 9.
