‘The Muppet Movie’ returning to theaters in July
“The Muppet Movie” will be returning to the movie theaters in honor of its 40th anniversary for two days in July.
The original movie was released on June 22, 1979, and followed Kermit the Frog’s exploits after he decided to pursue a movie career. He starts his cross-country trip from Florida to California and you guessed it, he meets Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, Gonzo
The movie will be in theaters July 25 and July 30 Tickets for the showings are now available at Fathom Events site.
The movie features the iconic song “The Rainbow Connection,” written by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher.
