First narrators for Candlelight Processional announced for 2019 Epcot Festival of Holidays

The first four narrators for the annual Candlelight Processional at the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays was announced today.

The festival runs from Nov. 29-Dec. 30, 2019, with special holiday celebrations throughout all 11 World Showcase pavilions. There is special entertainment, Holiday Kitchens and the Candlelight Processional.

The processional takes place in the America Gardens Theatre, combining a live orchestra, choir and celebrity narrator in the retelling of the traditional Christmas story.

The lineup so far includes:

• Whoopi Goldberg – 12/6-12/7
• Pat Sajak – 12/16-12/18
• Steven Curtis Chapman – 12/22-12/24
• Edward James Olmos – 12/25-12/26

The Candlelight Processional is performed nightly at 5 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.

The Candlelight Processional Dining Package, which includes a breakfast, lunch or dinner at select Epcot eateries and guaranteed seatings for the processional go on sale starting July 3.

In addition to the announcement of the narrators, Disney also announced that a new fireworks show is coming to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this holiday season as well.
