Photos: Coronado Springs tower, restaurant construction update

As we get closer to the opening of the new tower and restaurants at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, details work is being completed inside the new 15-story tower.

The Gran Destino Tower will open in July 2019 with 545 new guest rooms, including 50 suites. Atop the tower is the table service restaurant the Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood. The restaurant’s official opening is July 9.

In the middle of the 14-acre lake, Lago Dorado, is the new Three Bridges Bar & Grill with walkways stretching across the water from various areas of the resort. The bridges give guests nice shortcuts to the various sections of the resort.

The new restaurant is complete and you can see the TVs working inside and workers preparing for the opening. Cast members said we can expect to see the restaurant open in about three weeks, around June 10.
