Special May the 4th celebrations coming to Disneyland
Even though Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge won’t be opening until May 31, there will be plenty of ways to celebrate Star Wars Day – May the 4th.
Disneyland will be hosting limited-time ride makeovers, as well as special food, beverage and merchandise offerings.
Here are five ways to celebrate the day at Disneyland:
- Hyperspace Mountain, the special Star Wars-themed overlay at Space Mountain, returns for a limited time.
- Captain Phasma and a small legion of Stormtroopers make their way through Tomorrowland in the March of the First Order.
- There will be a special photo opportunity in the Starcade.
- The Galactic Grill and Alien Pizza Planet are serving up Star Wars-inspired snacks and meals like the Dark Side Chicken Sandwich and Outer Rim Pasta. A novelty stein, sipper and popcorn buckets inspired by Star Wars icons.
- Grab a souvenir from Star Trader or Launch Bay, such as a t-shirt, hat or limited-edition pin.
