Re-opening date announced for Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough at Disneyland

The Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough, which has been closed as renovations take place prior to the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will reopen May 28, according to the Disneyland website.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disneyland on May 31.

The castle refurbishment is part of Project Stardust—a number of enhancements to Disneyland from overall beautification of the theme park to maxi­mizing guest comfort and access. 

Work on Disneyland’s iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle includes replacing the roofs and “repainting in the same color scheme, cool blue stones warm pink plaster walls and warm blue roofs,” Disney Imagineer Kim Irvine previously said.
