What Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge looks like 4 months before opening at Disney World

We are about four months out until the first phase of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at the Walt Disney World World Resort and the aerial views show some walkways being put in, but it still looks like a lot of work is needed.

The version at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is scheduled to open Aug. 29, 2019. The Disneyland version will open May 31, 2019. These will just be the first phase of the opening and will include shops, restaurants and the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction where you fly the Mllennium Falcon.

The second phase opening, the date has not yet been announced, will include Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, “the most ambitious, immersive and advanced attraction ever imagined that will put guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance and will blur the lines between fantasy and reality,” according to Disney.

Here’s what the Disney World version looks like in mid-April 2019, a little more than four months until the opening of the land.
