New information released about Coronado Springs Tower
The new tower being constructed at Coronado Springs Resort in Disney World will be called the Gran Destino Tower, Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products Chairman Bob Chapek announced.
The 15-story tower will be complete in July 2019 and ad 545 new guest rooms, including 50 suites. The top of the new Gran Destino Tower will have a themed table-service restaurant with views of Disney World.
In addition to the new tower, the more than 1,800 existing rooms have also been fully updated with new fixtures, furnishings and lighting.
A new restaurant will also open on an island in the middle of the resort’s 14-acre lake, Lago Dorado, with new walkways stretching across the water from various areas of the resort.
Guests will soon be able to make reservations for Gran Destino Tower for stays beginning in July 2019.
