Disney to live stream ‘Frozen’ castle-lighting ceremony

Ready to kick off the Christmas season? Join Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf in a live stream of the “Frozen”-themed castle lighting ceremony at the Magic Kingdom Friday night.

The Disney Parks Blog will live stream the “Frozen Holiday Wish” show beginning at 6:15 p.m. Friday. Just visit the home page of the blog after 6 p.m. The stage show lasts about 15 minutes.

The castle’s holiday lights are largely the same as in recent years, but this year Queen Elsa supplants Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother as the bringer of holiday cheer.

Disney is promising this will be the first in a series of holiday events live-streamed throughout the Christmas season. Stay tuned for more details.
