New Hollywood Studios car entrance opens Nov. 8
Disney World is opening up a new car entrance to Hollywood Studios starting Nov. 8, 2018.
As part of the major changes taking place at Hollywood Studios – the opening of Toy Story Land and the construction of the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land – Disney has also been reconfiguring the parking lot and the entrance and exits for cars.
Starting Nov. 8, those driving to Hollywood Studios will use a new entrance and exit located off of Osceola Parkway.
The current main entrance off of World Drive and Osceola Parkway will be repurposed for Disney cast members only. The satellite entrance off of Buena Vista Drive will be dedicated to buses. only.
The new entrance is part of a major construction project that has been taking place at Victory Way and Osceola Parkway where a new interchange has been built for the new entrance.
Disney will be updating the roadway signs through the resort to help drivers navigate to the new entrance.
In addition, the parking area is being expanded, the tram lanes in the parking area are being adjusted, additional bus parking is being added and, of course, the new Disney Skyliner is being built.
