2018 Christmas holiday info released for Disneyland
On Nov. 9, 2018, the Disneyland Resort transforms for the Christmas holidays which means the end of the Pixar Play Parade and Paint the Night Parade.
Here are the five big things to expect at Disneyland and California Adventure:
1. “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade at Disneyland park: Whether it’s Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse offering yuletide greetings, Santa Claus with his prancing reindeer or Disney Princesses dancing at the Candlelight Ball, everyone has a favorite part of this classic parade. To prepare for the parade, the “Pixar Play Parade” end its run on Nov. 4.
2. Festive Food Marketplaces at Disney California Adventure park: As part of the Festival of Holidays, the delicious mix of holiday dishes and beverages found at the Festive Food Marketplaces celebrate diverse cuisines, cultures and traditions. To make way for Festival of Holidays, “Paint the Night” parade will conclude its limited run on Nov. 7.
3. “Believe…in Holiday Magic” fireworks at Disneyland park: The holiday fireworks return culminating with a magical snowfall finale.
4. Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party at Disney California Adventure park: This colofrul street party comes to life with musicians, dancers and giant mojiganga puppets. The Three Caballeros—Donald Duck, Panchito and José Carioca—lead a jolly, joyous celebration.
5. Seasonal Decor at the Disneyland Resort: Not only will the halls be decked but so will Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle at Disneyland park, as well as the a sparkle along Route 66 in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure park.
