3 free fun ways to enjoy Halloween Time at Disneyland hotels
Those who are staying at the Disneyland Resort hotels during Halloween Time have the opportunity to enjoy a trio of special free Halloween treats.
Here’s what to look for:
1. Seasonal decor: The lobby of the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has an edible holiday display of pumpkins in the form of Oogie Boogie. It is built form cereal treats, icing, chocolate, and fondant. Over 200 pounds of icing, 100 pounds of chocolate, and 300 pounds of fondant to was used. And they put in 13 Hidden Mickeys.
The Disneyland Hotel and also has some Halloween decor and the Paradise Pier Hotel have hoisted the Jolly Roger flag in the lobby.
2. Trick-or-Treating for hotel guests: On select afternoons from Oct. 2. through Oct. 31, 2018, overnight guests can do some trick or treating. The Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the Disneyland Hotel, and Paradise Pier Hotel will have a treat map of locations. They are also offering activities such as coloring pages, bat mask decorating and create-your-own pirate hat. Cookie decorating kits are also available for a fee.
3. Musical entertainment: A capella performers, the Skeletones and the Cryptix will be strolling around and performing at the various hotels. The Scareolers will also be seen in Downtown Disney.
