Vault by Vans releases new Disney collection

As part of the 90th-anniversary celebration of Mickey Mouse, Vault by Vans has commissioned four artists to create shoes and t-shirts featuring Mickey.

Each artist has created a design for Vans’ iconic high-top sneaker, the OG Sk8-Hi LX, as well as a short-sleeved tee.

The artists and their designs are all true originals, just like Mickey himself:

John Van Hamersveld: A renowned illustrator and graphic designer, Van Hamersveld’s style is pure Southern California. He uses psychedelic patterns and vibrant color schemes to blend the worlds of art, music, and surf.

Mr. Cartoon: A legendary tattoo artist, Mark Machado is recognized for his richly detailed hand-rendered style of fine line tattooing—a technique that uses diluted black ink to create shadows and depth.

Geoff McFetridge: A designer, illustrator and animator, McFetridge isknown for his minimalistic and surreal style. He works in a broad range of art media. His style is marked by simplicity, with elegant line drawings and paintings.

Taka Hayashi: A Vault mainstay, Hayashi is known for detailed craftsmanship and unique design that’s synonymous with his aesthetic approach.
