Christmas figures among 5 new Jim Shore Disney items
It’s Christmas in July for Jim Shore fans. Five new figures have been released, including three with a Christmas theme.
Mickey Mouse makes an appearance as Santa Claus in a new snow globe, while Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are featured in wintery white in separate figures.
The last two new additions have an added twist: They are designed to look like they are carved from ice and are illuminated from within. The battery-operated figures of Stitch and Tinker-Bell have a touch sensor on the front of the base. This is a very cool feature: When the light switch is set to off, touching the sensor turns the light on for 15 seconds before automatically turning off; when it’s turned on, the light goes on for 5 minutes before switching off.
