Photos: Fireworks from a little-known beach area at the Polynesian Resort

Viewing fireworks at Walt Disney World does not always mean having to head to one of the parks to witness the pyrotechnic spectacle. Particularly when talking about the Magic Kingdom.

There are numerous places around the Seven Seas Lagoon to catch the fireworks. One of our favorite locations is the Polynesian Resort.

The beach area and the old Sunset Point had always been great locations since they are directly across from the Magic Kingdom. However, the construction of the Bora Bora Bungalows over the water ate up a lot of the prime beach viewing. And while Sunset Point is a nice area to relax, it’s not the greatest for fireworks.

Now, most people will huddle around the fire pit area of the beach or the boat dock to enjoy the fireworks. But there is one more area you can go to stop and enjoy.
