21 aerial photos updating major Disney World construction
Walt Disney World is going through a massive building boom as it prepares for the 50th anniversary of the resort in 2021.
New rides, restaurants, resorts and roads are being constructed and refurbished within the 40-square-mile resort.
A recent flyover of the resort by @bioreconstruct provides all with a great overview of what’s taking place at Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach, Art of Animation and Pop Century, and Disney Springs.
Here’s a look at what everything looks like from the air.
Hollywood Studios
The one park going through major work is Hollywood Studios. Not only is the new Toy Story Land scheduled to open June 30, 2018, a new Star Wars land will open in 2019, a new Star Wars hotel is being built, there is a new parking lot, a new road and entrance is being constructed and a new station for the Disney Skyliner is being built.
