New Disney Junior Dance Party is coming to Disney World
UPDATE: Disney has now announced that Disney Junior – Live on Stage will close Sept. 2, 2018, to make way for the new show.
There will a new Disney Junior show coming to Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, Disney announced today.
The “Disney Junior Dance Party!” is a live show experience that takes inspiration from the most popular Disney Junior shows on TV, including “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” “Doc McStuffins,” “The Lion Guard” and the newest hit series “Vampirina.”
The new show, according to Disney, “is a musically infused, interactive concert, hosted by Finn Fiesta and a DJ – named Deejay, of course – who involve you in all the fun, including live appearances from some of your favorite characters, fun music from Disney Junior and much more.”
No announcement has been made as to whether this will replace the current Disney Junior – Live on Stage located in the Animation Courtyard of Hollywood Studios. The current version of Live on Stage has been around for 10 years and is a live show attraction featuring puppets of characters from cable channel’s popular television programs.
