Disney World adds an After Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom is adding a second seating to its nightly fireworks dessert party due to the popularity of the event. Instead of having dessert and then watch the fireworks, you will soon be able to watch the fireworks first and then go for dessert.

Starting May 28, 2018, the new After Fireworks Dessert Party begins. In this special ticketed event, you first experience the fireworks over the Cinderella Castle from a special viewing area in the Plaza Garden and then head over to the Tomorrowland Terrace

The menu includes both sweet and savory. Among the offerings are the S’mores Action Station, Pineapple Delights, Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes, Macarons, a Cookie Table, and Strawberry Tarts.

Savory snacks include cheese cubes, spinach dip with crackers, and house-made mini eggrolls. Fresh fruit is also available along with beverages such as sparkling apple juice, coffee, tea, and milk.

On July 3-4 and select nights during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party there will be special-themed holiday treats as well as holiday fireworks.

Reservations for the After Fireworks Dessert Party has already started via phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Pricing is $69 for adults and $41 for children. Online reservations will be available starting on May 24.

For more information and to make reservations for all other dessert party experiences, visit the Walt Disney World Resort website or call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).
