Disneyland throwing VIP-style premiere event for Pixar Pier
Disney is throwing a VIP-style premiere event for newly re-imagined Pixar Pier at California Adventure park in the Disneyland Resort complete with a red carpet.
The new area opens to the public on June 23, 2018, but you can be among the first to celebrate the opening with a premiere event on Jun 22, 2018. A limited number of tickets will be available starting May 16. Head to Disneyland.com for pricing and event details. Tickets are non-refundable and may not be resold.
Pixar Pier will close for the World of Color nighttime spectacular at 9 p.m. Guests may continue to enjoy other attractions and entertainment throughout California Adventure Park until 10 p.m.
Here are some of the highlights from the event:
Exclusive entry into Pixar Pier: Starting at 3 p.m. you’ll be able to walk the red carpet and explore the four neighborhoods of Pixar Pier.
Ride Pixar Pier attractions: The new Incredicoaster will be opened as well as the newly-rethemed Pixar Pal-A-Round and Toy Story Midway Mania.
Complimentary eats and treats: You’ll be able to sample one item from Poultry Palace, Angry Dogs, Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num Nums, Senor Buzz Churros and Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats.
All-things Pixar: There will be Pixar-themed entertainment, character encounters and photo locations.
Photos: You’ll receive unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the event, as well as a commemorative event credential and a special amenity.
Complimentary parking: Premiere event tickets include standard parking.
